(For those who know or are learning tarot as well)
If you do not know Tarot, this may only serve as an interesting read. But be sure to tuck and save it somewhere in case one day you do take up tarot.
Now if you wish to study the Tarot and Cartomancy in a deeper way, you’ll realize that there are subtle differences in the interpretation of the Minor Arcana and its corresponding PIP playing cards. (The PIP cards are the cards in your playing pack that is labeled 1 thru 10. Any one of those cards is called a PIP card.) However, these variations are so slight that you can keep the meanings the same for each system except for the court cards.
Hearts are cups
Diamonds are Pentacles
Clubs are wands
Spades are Swords
As far as I know there are no reverse meanings that are a must for anyone to worry with. If, however, you know tarot, then know you have the option to do the reverse, or not to. So, if you are going to link these to your tarot cards you still have that choice ok.
