Sweet Sister

Sweet sister…

She, who devours the moon and spews it forth to bring about the night…

What has you trapped between realms and lives?

What keeps you soothed within the dark of light?

What binds you now to the curse of time?

Sweet sister . . .

She who melts the rain from a darkened sky…

Who chants not magic but of death and decay?

Who has lost the enchantment withering beyond dying eyes?

These are the things he bids me to say.

Sweet sister….

It is not only you who must walk this path…

But the sisters fate seems to leave behind.

It is not only you who must suffer wrath’s task.

That shall open thy way and release the skies.

Sweet sister . . .

Come… for I have called.

You can ignore me no more.

Let the ones fade, who give us deaf ears.

Trust in what you were . . . once before.

Sweet sister…

I know it seems as though it was a dream.

These things are not normal to think of as real.

But in the dawn of night, comes the most beautiful of things.

A truth that refuses to be destroyed or revealed.

Sweet sister . . .

Engrave what you cannot remember . . . never forget.

Never let fade the reflections of past.

Never let the one without the face whither from your mind.

For a door will soon open to take you home at last.

Or at least that is what he asked . . . Sweet sister.
