Bound By Blood: The Awakening is an impressive read. The story entrapped me and would not release its hold until the final page. Samanthra showed me what a strong, selfless woman could do when put to challenges and Dareus showed me that a man can be both warrior and lover without ever combining the two…well unless asked, that is.
C.H. Scarlett has won herself a spot on my favorite author list, and I will be waiting rather impatiently for the continuation of the Bound by Blood saga, and can hope that there is going to be a continuation.

I absolutely loved it!
There better be a sequel in the works and FAST! As we all know, an ending can make or break a book. With a sequel, this could possibly turn out to be one of the best stories I have had the pleasure of getting involved in in a very long time and will land C.H. Scarlett on my faves list. There is just so much potential here! Great job!

Bound by Blood is a romantic, poetically written story that takes the reader on a journey like no other I’ve read. Full of beautiful imagery, spells and poetry, this is a book to get lost in. The author has written a wonderful, magical, spellbinding tale that will capture the reader’s imagination, as well as their heart. This is a “don’t miss this book” read!
